Position Summary: Do you have a passion for bringing good people into your organization and ensuring they are productive, engaged and their goals are met? If so, you might be our ideal candidate for a member of the volunteer management team. The team will help bring potential volunteers into our organization by following up with interested candidates, interviewing for specific positions, and making the transition from interested party to hired volunteer as seamless and smooth as possible. The team will also ensure that volunteers are satisfied and that any new recruits are comfortable with their new roles within our organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

You must be able to commit to a minimum average of 10 hours a month. This is a "virtual" team opportunity which may be performed from home or another location, although we would prefer someone located in the Puget Sound (near Seattle). Community Empowerment Network's (CEN) operations are nearly entirely driven by the efforts of volunteers (the only exception is our Field Manager in Santarém, Brazil, who is paid under contract). We are a small organization and so lines of responsibility sometimes overlap, but this provides a terrific opportunity for volunteers to take on a variety of responsibilities and to expand their skills.
