Position Summary:

The Website Technical Team Lead  will develop the Website Technical team, oversee the functioning of the team and ensure that issues pertaining to website are addressed efficiently and in timely manner according to CEN priorities .Team Lead should be able to relay the important information regarding the purpose of the website, the content organization of the website and other specific needs to the team members.

• Strong organization and team management skills (team management experience is preferable)
• Should be able to provide creative solutions
• Ability to develop and communicate a vision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-directed, mature and reliable
• Meticulous about details
• Possess a working knowledge of HTML and CSS. Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, and Joomla (or a similar CMS system) is a bonus

You must be able to commit to a minimum average of 10 hours a month. This is a "virtual" team opportunity which may be performed from home or another location.

Community Empowerment Network's (CEN) operations are nearly entirely driven by the efforts of volunteers (the only exception is our Field Manager in Santarém, Brazil, who is paid under contract).
