Position Summary:
The Fundraising Operations Manager will oversee the quality (and accuracy) of our donor and marketing database, as well as ensure that thank you letters to donors are issued on a timely basis.

• Manage a small team of data specialists to ensure that the donor database is accurate and that it provides the data we need to execute fundraising and marketing activities;
• Understand and define data segments;
• Oversee maintenance of the data, including entering and editing data, when a team member isn’t available;
• Become highly familiar with the our donor management tools (Telosa Exceed Basic);
• Oversee the generation of data sets and reports for targeted fundraising activities; and
• Collaborate with the rest of the fundraising team on the development and execution of its activities

• High degree of proficiency working with details;
• Effective communications and team management skills;
• An adequate understanding of relational data structure; and
• Maturity and reliability

You must be able to commit to a minimum average of 10 hours a month. This is a "virtual" team opportunity which may be performed from home or another location.

Community Empowerment Network's (CEN’s) operations are nearly entirely driven by the efforts of volunteers (the only exception is our Field Manager in Santarém, Brazil, who is paid under contract). We are a small organization and so lines of sometimes overlap, but this provides a terrific opportunity for volunteers to take on a variety of responsibilities and to expand you’re their skills.
